BIOGRAPHY

Sean Edwards was born in Cardiff, United Kingdom, in 1980, and is living and working in Abergavenny. Edwards gained his BA Fine Art at University of Wales Institute (2003) and his MA Fine Art from Slade (2005). He is presently in residency at Rhondda Cynon Taf, Fotogallery, in Cardiff, UK. Awards that Edwards received include Creative Wales Ambassadors Award, Arts Council of Wales (2013); Major Creative Wales Research Award, Arts Council of Wales (2010); Safle Award (2009); The Elephant Trust Grant (2009); International Opportunities Fund, Wales Arts International (2008); The Elephant Trust Grant (2007); Venice Travel Award, Wales Arts International (2007); and Young Artist Scholarship, National Eisteddfod (2004).
