Born in Jerusalem, 1978, lives and works in Tel Aviv.
Israel studied at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design, Jerusalem, and holds both a B.F.A. and a M.F.A. with honors from this establishment. His sculptures have an air of unreality. They are not abstractions of specific objects but rather outline symbols of a shared memory, evoking a range of associations often related to religious artifact and to symbols of power. Each body of work is accompanied by watercolor drawings. Floating in a Dark background, groups of objects form peculiar relationships between themselves creating a parallel environment.
