Nick Laessing (b. 1973 London, United Kingdom) received a BFA from Kingston University in London, 1996, and an MFA from Royal Academy Schools in London, in 1999. He also studied at Dusseldorf Art Academy in Dusseldorf, Germany and Oxford Brookes University in Oxford. Selected solo exhibitions include Present/Future at Artissima 16 in Turin, Italy (2009), Nick Laessing, curated by Simone Menegoi at Norma Mangione Gallery in Turin (2009), Energiser, curated by Florence Ostende at Galerie Paul Freches in Paris, France (2009), and We All Turn This Way, performance in collaboration with Athanasios Argianas, at Serpentine Gallery in London (2008).
