  • Following up on her interview with sculptor Will Ryman last week, MutualArt.com’s London Correspondent Pippa Jane Wielgos had the chance to chat with other artists whose works were up in Frieze’s fantastic Sculpture Park. Curated by David Thorpe, the Sculpture Park is one of the most unique aspects of the fair, and features a wide variety of international artists whose innovative sculptures always draw visitors to the garden. This year’s Sculpture Park welcomed the works of 12 emerging and established artists, from veteran sculptor Kiki Smith to newcomer Eva Koťátková.

BIOGRAPHY

Neha Choksi received her MA in Classics from Columbia University, New York and her BAs in Greek and in Art from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Her work has been shown in Los Angeles, London, New York, Madrid, Amsterdam, Sydney, Istanbul, Delhi, Bombay, and as part of the 10th Venice Architecture Biennale. Her last public work was an outdoor sculptural installation at the Frieze Art Fair 2009. Her work is currently represented by Project 88, Mumbai.  She serves on the editorial board of X-TRA, an arts journal published out of Los Angeles, for whom she occasionally writes.
