BIOGRAPHY

Geerten Verheus (b. 1965 Amsterdam, Netherlands) received a BA in Photography from Gerrit Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, in 1993. He received his MA in Fine Arts from Chelsea College of Art & Design, London, in 1999. Verheus’ sculptural installations and collages mostly function not through any narrative content, but through rather intuitive associations to the unorthodox materials he uses and the interrelations he creates between them. Geerten Verheus lives and works in Berlin.
