BIOGRAPHY

Wang Yuyang was born in Haerbin, China in 1979.  He holds a Bachelors degree from Central Academy of Drama, Beijing, China and a Postgraduate Degree from Central Academy of Fine Art, Beijing, China.

In 2008, Wang Yuyang presented a solo exhibition, Dust is Dust, with CPU:798, Beijing, China.  He has also exhibited his work in group exhibitions internationally, including in Final Cut, processing new media in public space at the Shanhai E-arts Festival of 2008; in the 3rd Nanjing Triennial at the Nanjing Museum, Nanjing, China; Poorism at Boers-Li Galllery, Beijing, China; Cine Cine Cine!!! in "Chinese Contemporary Art Beyond the Global Market", Strozzina, Palazzo Strozzi, Florence, Italy; German Night– a Goethe Institute commission project, in Beijing, China and Sustainable Imagination, from the Media Art in China Exhibition Series 1999–2007, Arario Beijing, China.

Wang Yuyang is represented by CPU:798 in Beijing.  He lives and works in Beijing, China.
