BIOGRAPHY

Allison Miller, born in Evanston, Illinois, earned her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI in 1996 and her MFA from University of California, Los Angeles, in 2001.  She now lives and works in Los Angeles, California.

Her solo exhibitions include Susan Inglett in New York, NY (2013, 2012) and ACME. in Los Angeles, CA (2006, 2007, 2011). Selected group exhibitions include Made in L.A. 2012 organized by the Hammer Museum, Los Angeles, CA (2012); Painting in Place curated by Shamim M. Momin, Los Angeles, CA (2013); "six memos for the next..", curated by Tilo Schulz, Magazin 4, Bregenzer, Austria; Stone Gravy, curated by David Pagel, Ameringer, McEnery and Yohe, New York, NY (2012); Something About Mary, Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, CA (2007); LA Now, curated by David Pagel, Las Vegas Museum of Art, Las Vegas, NV (2008); Tony Feher, Allison Miller, and Mitzi Pederson, ACME., Los Angeles, CA (2009); Tables and Chairs, D’Amelio Terras, New York, NY (2009); and Meet Me Inside, Gagosian, Beverly Hills, CA (2010).
