Masahiro Wada was born in 1977,Tokyo Japan, and currently lives and works in Tokyo. Wada observes the conditions of cultures or cultural symbols in particular domains that are taken for granted, conserved or secluded and intervenes into them through work that often encompasses performance, sculpture, installation or video. His work subverts pre-conceived notions of aesthetics and the commericialization of art, often through the use of humor and absurdity.

Wada graduated with a BA Fine Art, Goldsmiths College University of London (London/U.K) from the Tama art university（Tokyo/JP)(200-2004).
