BIOGRAPHY

Khalif Kelly (b.1980, Nashville, TN), received an MFA from the Yale School of Art, Yale University, New Haven, CT (2008) a BFA from The School of Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL (2003) and has studied at the Studio Art Centers International, Florence, Italy (2001). Selected solo exhibitions include Recess, Thierry Goldberg Projects, New York, NY(2008); Kahlif Kelly at Volta NY, presented by Thierry Goldberg Projects, New York, NY (2008). Selected group exhibitions include Exit Art New York, NYs (2008); Group Show, Yale School of Art Gallery, Yale University, New Haven, CT (2007);SOFA Gallery, Indiana University School of Fine Art, Bloomington, IN (2005); G2 Gallery, The School of Art Institute of Chicago, Chicago, IL (2003). Kelly is currently in the Artist-in-Residence program at the Studio Museum in Harlem (2009). Kelly is represented by Thierry Goldberg Projects.
