BIOGRAPHY

Born in 1970 in Redding, California, Patrick Wilson received a B.A. at U.C. Davis in 1993 and an M.F.A. at the Claremont Graduate University in 1995.  Recent solo exhibitions include Evolving Geometries: Line, Form, and Color at The Center for the Arts, Virginia Tech University (2014), Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects (2014), Ameringer | McEnery | Yohe, New York (2012), Marx & Zavattero, San Francisco (2012), and Patrick Wilson: Pull, University Art Museum, California State University, Long Beach (2012).  Selected group exhibitions include "NOW-ism: Abstraction Today" at the Pizzuti Collection in Columbus, OH, 2010 California Biennial at the Orange County Museum of Art, Newport Beach, curated by Sarah Bancroft,  Electric Mud curated by David Pagel for the Blaffer Gallery at the University of Houston, Keeping it Straight: Right Angles and Hard Edges in Contemporary Southern California Art, Riverside Art Museum, Riverside, CA, curated by Peter Frank, and Gyroscope at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington D.C.. 

He is currently represented by Susanne Vielmetter Los Angeles Projects in Culver City, CA, and Ameringer | McEnery | Yohe in New York.  The artist lives and works in Los Angeles.
