Shizu Saldamando (b. 1978) was born and raised in San Francisco's Mission district and received a BA from UCLA's School of Arts and Architecture in 2000 and her MFA degree from California Institute of the Arts in 2005. She has exhibited her work in both painting and experimental media exhibitions throughout the country and currently lives and works in Los Angeles.
