Olga Koumoundouros (b. 1965 New York) received an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California, in 2001; studied Studio Art at California State University Long Beach in Long Beach, California, from 1997 to 1999; studied Studio Art at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston from 1995 to 1997; and received a BA in Environmental Studies from the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vermont, in 1990. Selected solo exhibitions include Thieves and Vinegar at Adamski Gallery for Contemporary Art in Aachen, Germany (2006); More Yellow Wallpaper at Occidental College in Eagle Rock, California (2005); Designated Hitters at the Spider Hole at Adamski Gallery for Contemporary Art in Aachen, Germany (2004); and a new balance frontier at Gallery D 300 at the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California (2001). Selected group exhibtions include Touched at Pasadena Armory Center for the Arts in Pasadena, California (2007); The Secretariat at Aftermodern Gallery in San Francisco (2007); Philosophy of Time Travel at The Studio Museum in New York (2007); and On porch at LA>Adamski Gallery for Contemporary Art in Aachen, Germany. Olga Kouounadouros lives and works in Los Angeles.
