Artist/Artwork Selection Process
The selection determinations are entirely defined by the professional expertise and authority of the highly-qualified art professionals who serve to make the selection. APT curators are directed to look for the most talented and promising artists currently on the scene.
An artist does not need have gallery representation or a sales record to be selected; for example, an artist who just completed an MFA degree is just as much a viable applicant as an artist with a substantial resume of exhibitions and sales. However, each artist selection is ultimately based on the specific characteristic of the artist. The challenge is to identify the exceptional talent that has the greatest promise.< Back to FAQS
